There are many support organisations that do incredible work in supporting the different types of special needs, we have listed just a handful – we wait to hear from you! This site has a very useful section which is designed to provide as much information as possible about the choice of schools and colleges available in the UK to children and young adults who have special needs. This guide lists not only Independent Special Needs Schools, but also the Maintained Schools and includes information about special needs associations. This site has lots of useful information, if you click on Education and Learning which you will find on the left hand menu, it will take you to the relevant information. The British Dylsexia Association This is the website of the British Dyslexia Association which has all the informatoin you will need, it is a very comprehensive site. The National Attention Deficit Disorder Suport Service This is the the National Attention Deficit Disorder Information and Support Service website. They provide people-friendly information and resources about Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder to anyone who needs assistance - parents, sufferers, teachers or health professionals. Whatever you're looking for in ADHD, they will do their best to help.
